Chew resistant construction
Unlike wood, steel mesh holds up to even the most determined chewers. That makes it the most secure option for larger breeds or anxious dogs.
01 Dog Runs, Orlando, FL
Chew resistant chain link, planned drainage, shade positioning, and the option of a partial cover. Sized to your dog and your yard.
Between busy traffic on Semoran Boulevard, wildlife wandering through neighborhoods, and Florida's lack of natural barriers, letting your dog roam free in Orlando is not always safe. A dedicated dog run gives your pup room to burn off energy while keeping them secure.
For more than a decade, Wulff Fence has built custom dog runs, dog running fences, and kennels for Orlando pet owners across communities from Winter Park to Casselberry. Whether you need a compact area for potty breaks or a large enclosure for high energy breeds, we design and build dog running fence solutions that keep your pets contained and trouble out.
Most of our customers have an urgent reason to fix their fence. We have seen it all and we are more than happy to address any and all issues to get the fence back to safe standards. That includes dog runs that need to go in fast before a new puppy arrives.

02 Why chain link wins for dog runs
While we install all materials, chain link is the top choice for dog running fences and kennels in Central Florida. It balances security with comfort for your pet.
Unlike wood, steel mesh holds up to even the most determined chewers. That makes it the most secure option for larger breeds or anxious dogs.
Solid walls trap heat. Chain link allows maximum airflow to keep your dog cool during Orlando's hot summers.
You can watch your dog from the patio, and your dog can see the world without feeling isolated or confined.

One size does not fit all. A Chihuahua needs a different setup than a German Shepherd. We customize your dog running fence based on your breed and yard layout.
For smaller dogs, a 4 foot fence usually provides enough containment. If you have a jumper (Boxers, Huskies, or athletic mixed breeds), we recommend 5 foot or 6 foot fencing to prevent escapes.
For diggers, we can install a concrete footer or a bottom tension wire to keep the fence tight to the ground. Posts go 3 feet deep in concrete on every job, regardless of material, which keeps the whole enclosure stable.
Want something that blends better with your landscaping? We offer vinyl coated chain link in black or green, which looks cleaner than standard galvanized steel. If your yard already has a vinyl fence perimeter, the coated run reads as a deliberate match instead of a tacked on cage.
03 Built for Florida
Central Florida's climate creates specific challenges for outdoor pet enclosures. We design with local conditions in mind.
We position dog runs under existing shade trees, those big oaks common in Winter Park and Casselberry, whenever possible for natural cooling.
We plan the layout to prevent water from pooling in the kennel during afternoon thunderstorms.
For maximum protection, we can add a partial or full cover to shield your pet from sun and heavy rain.
It depends on your dog's size and athleticism. For most medium dogs, a 5 foot dog running fence works well. For athletic breeds like German Shepherds or Huskies, we recommend 6 foot fencing.
They can try. We prevent this by installing a concrete footer along the bottom or burying wire mesh below ground level.
We handle fence repair on the same visit. If the perimeter needs work before the dog run goes in, we quote both at once.
